Essential Checks Before Ordering
It is your responsibility to ensure that the
Upholstery and Furniture Products you have ordered
will fit into your home, and that there is sufficient
access for our delivery lorry to reach the delivery
address.
Essential Checks on Delivery
An adult must be available at the address to
carefully check the unwrapped product, sign and
acknowledge receipt in a safe and satisfactory
condition. Please report any defects immediately upon
delivery to Customer Services. For Self-Assembly
Products, you are only required to sign for the
packaged goods received.
Delivery Charges and Carriers
Laura Ashley only delivers to the following UK
territories: Mainland UK, Northern Ireland, the Isle
of Wight and the Channel Islands (please note that we
do not deliver Furniture to the Channel Islands). The
delivery charges set out below apply to Mainland UK
only:
- If you order products for delivery we can only deliver to a Mainland UK address.
- If you require delivery outside Mainland UK please contact Customer Services. for further details.
Standard Home Furnishings and
Made-To-Measure
There is a minimum £4.50 delivery charge for
delivery to addresses within Mainland UK. Standard
Home Furnishings and Made-to-Measure Products will be
delivered separately to other furniture orders.
Upholstery and Furniture
Delivery to addresses in the UK territories: For
orders under £1000 (after discount) the
standard delivery charge is £25, delivery is
free for orders of £1000 and over (after
discount). Please note additional charges may apply
in certain circumstances. An additional delivery
charge is payable for deliveries above first floor,
deliveries requiring more than two delivery crew or a
small van for access and other exceptional
circumstances. The additional delivery charge will
range from £60 to £130 depending on the
circumstances. Laura Ashley staff will advise you of
the additional delivery charge applicable at the time
you place your order or as soon as possible
thereafter. For prices and availability please

In general
Deliveries requiring special arrangements can
sometimes be made but will be at an additional cost
to you.
Important Delivery Information Please note that Laura Ashley will charge you a non-refundable storage fee of £100 per full week in the following circumstances :
- Where bookings have not been made: 3 weeks after the original due date of the furniture or first booking attempt by Customer Services whichever is the later.
- Where bookings have been made: if you are unavailable to take delivery of your furniture order on two occasions after agreeing delivery dates with Customer Services.
- In these instances, re-delivery charges may also apply.
Delivery Times
Delivery dates and weeks are not guaranteed but Laura
Ashley will do their utmost to ensure goods are
delivered within the stated date or soon afterwards.
Laura Ashley shall not be responsible for delays or
failures in delivery caused by a failure to gain
access to the delivery address on the agreed delivery
date or because of other circumstances beyond our
reasonable control. Specific delivery times and days
cannot be agreed at any time in the order
process.
Delivery of Upholstery and Furniture
The delivery crew will not attempt delivery if there
are health and safety issues or where damage to your
property may occur nor will they remove doors and
windows. If no one is available to accept delivery,
Laura Ashley will charge you £50 per single
item re-delivered and £75 total for more than
one item re-delivered at the same time. Where the
item/s ordered will not fit into your home, in
addition to any cancellation fee incurred, Laura
Ashley will charge you a non-refundable removal fee
of £50 per single item and £75 total for
more than one item.
